REDCAT Intl Childrens Film Festival 2011

The 6th annual REDCAT International Children’s Film Festival is being March 26 - April 17, 2011 at the Royalt and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater in downtown Los Angeles, California.

The films span the globe with many variations on animation, comedy, adventure, fantasy, family experiences, spookiness, and the point where nature meets magic. Participating countries include:

Suitable for ages 3 and up (with one set for ages 2-6), the amazing array of movies is guaranteed to entertain both the kids and their accompanying adults, who will not only be able to tolerate, but definitely enjoy these films.

Nickelodeon Family Fun Day
Nickelodeon programming showcases the most watched and loved of children’s programs, and at this year’s Nick Family Fun Day, attendees get to meet the costumed characters of Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. favorites -- SpongeBob, Patrick, Dora and Diego -- and receive giveaways.

This year the Festival includes a special selection of new animation from China curated by acclaimed animator/teacher/artist Joe Chang.
