Hands On E3: The House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut in 3D

House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut is getting new lifeHouse of the Dead 3D on the E3 show floor. with the Sony PlayStation Move system for the PlayStation 3. Now in digital 3D, players can shoot all the zombies they want in this classic shooter published by Sega.

With the use of the new PlayStation Move gun attachment and the 3D capabilities of the PlayStation, this rail-shooter feels eerily realistic.  The 3D especially made the experience more engaging and fun with zombies popping out of the screen trying to devour your head. The booth demo gave me chills through my neck. Even the added mechanics of Move gun attachment made the experience more fantastic.

In two player mode, House of the Dead gives hint of a nice CO-OP aspect where each player utilizes either the pistol or the shotgun. Team play is needed with the pistol taking out further enemies and the shotgun shooting the closer ones.  Both players must work together to defeat the witch at the end of the demonstration.

The House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut is available now but require a 3D TV and a PlayStation 3 to enjoy the 3D experience.
