Wow! The 2009 Official Star Trek Convention is now one for the history books, and indeed history was made! It just had to be the best Star Trek Convention ever, with an astoundingly huge and excited crowd celebrating the enduring legacy of Gene Roddenberry. Over 15,000 fans from all over the galaxy joined in a non-stop four days of fun highlighted by the on-stage appearances, partying, autographing and photo ops with 70 great Trek celebrities. Add in a giant vendors room, auctions, incredible musical and comedy performances by Star Trek celebrities, costume and trivia contests, two stellar parties at the top of The Stratosphere Hotel, and tons of cool surprises: it was a time truly to be treasured forever. We appreciate the continued support of our long-time attendees and welcome the tremendous turn-out of first timers: glorious proof that Star Trek is back, living large once again! Step aside all those other genre franchises: there is only one tradition before all others and only one that offers a positive future for mankind!
