The New Yorker Festival is taking place September 30 - October 2, 2011 at the SVA 
Theatre, Directors Guild Theatre, SIR Stage 37, New York by Gehry and (Le) Poisson Rouge in Manhattan, New York City.
The New Yorker Festival is all about writing -- doing it, reading it, watching the film adaptations, and meeting the scribes themselves.
Tales out of School 3: A New Yorker Night with The Moth
The Moth once again teams up with The New Yorker for an evening of stories about life at the magazine. With Ian Frazier, Raffi Khatchadourian, Jane Kramer, Robert Mankoff and Michael Specter, hosted by Andy Borowitz.

Peter Schjeldahl will lead his fourth annual tour of the Frick Museum before public hours begin.
Calvin Trillin returns to lead a tasting walk through Chinatown and Greenwich Village, stopping at his favorite eateries.
April Bloomfield and Ken Friedman will talk with Lauren Collins about the rise of the New York gastropub, as a multi-course brunch is served.
Two films will be screened, both dealing with William Shakespeare:
A special screening of Anonymous, the new film that asks: who really wrote Shakespeare‛s plays? After the screening, Larissa MacFarquhar will talk with the film’s director, Roland Emmerich, and the Shakespeare scholar James Shapiro.
A special screening of a contemporary version of Shakespeare’s tragedy Coriolanus, directed by and starring Ralph Fiennes. Following the screening, Anthony Lane will talk with Fiennes.
