The 10th annual New York Times Arts & Leisure Weekend runs from January 6 through 11, 2011 at The Times Center (242 W. 41st Street) in New York City. Kevin Spacey

Completing its first decade, this event pairs NY Times journalists with legends of film, theater, music, television, dance, media and more. Also presented are special events and live performances.

Leading the roster of notables on the opening night is Kevin Spacey (American Beauty, Moon for the Misbegotten), who discusses his career as an actor and his role as the creative director for London's Old Vic Theatre. Spacey is followed by Katie Couric, the first female solo anchor of a weekday network evening news broadcast.

Other guests include:

Sir Tim Rice, the Oscar- and Tony-winning lyricist who celebrates the musical theater scores of Disney, and other favorites from shows past and present, with Broadway performers.
Annie Proulx, author of The Shipping News and Brokeback Mountain, has won both a Pulitzer Prize and a National Book Award, talks about her latest book.
Robert Redford, Academy Award-winning actor-director-producer, who discusses his career, his latest film, The Conspirator, and his Sundance Institute, which he founded 30 years ago.
Lang Lang, the 28-year-old superstar classical pianist who has played to sold-out audiences throughout the world.
Terence Winter, the co-creator of the new HBO series Boardwalk Empire with cast members Steve Buscemi, Paz de la Huerta and Michael Shannon.
