Celebrating both New York’s rich television history, and helping emerging artists, the New York Television Festival, running October 24 to the 29th at locations throughout NYC, brings together top industry pros and up-and-comers alike in a screening of new pilots and panel discussions.
“First and foremost, the NYTVF exists as a platform to showcase outstanding storytellers. Be it TV or digital, narrative or unscripted, traditional or short-form – if you have a story to share, this is the place to share it” says Terence Gray, founder of NYTVF.
Panels include discussions on virtual reality’s role in the future of television, pilot screenings, improv sessions to create the perfect pilot, and writer development workshops.
