The Governors Ball 10th Anniversary Brings on the Music

Two Evenings With Jazz at Lincoln Center at Bryant Park

For those looking for music while enjoying the weather, Bryant Park has you covered. The Bryant Park Picnic Performances features free, live performances and in August it will have a special Jazz at Lincoln Center Series. Presented by Jazz at Lincoln Center, the series kicks off on August 13 with Young Stars of Jazz, a concert featuring a handpicked selection of up-and-coming young stars of the jazz world; and, on August 14, the vocalist, bandleader, and saxophonist Camille Thurman, accompanied by the Darrell Green Quartet, performs the music of Burt Bacharach.

For anyone unable to attend in person, a free livestream broadcast of the performance will be available nationwide via Bryant Park’s website and social media platforms.

Celebrating Irish and Irish American music and heritage, the Milwaukee Irish Fest returns in August. Running August 20 to 22 at Henry Maier Festival Park with live music, food, festivities, and more.

The Best of Midwest Music Expo: Music Know-How Streamed Online

 


The Midwest Music Expo (or MMX) was formed in 2019 out of Illinois with the goal of fostering talent and establishing connections in the world of midwest music. This has included many online and recorded panels and discussions with musicians, music attorneys, activists, and entrepreneurs. Now on May 15th 2PM CST The Best of Midwest Music Expo, a special presentation, will be made of past panels and discussions in anticipation of the upcoming fifth installment of MMX. Panels will be streamed live but can also be viewed on demand and features speakers including Martin Atkins, Wendy Day, Darryl Hurs, Gaelynn Lea, and more.
