Before the frigid fall winds come in, the Met Opera has some free outdoor entertainment lined up for New Yorkers. The Met: Live in HD series returns, running September 2 to 7 at Lincoln Center Plaza. These FREE screenings feature new productions and celebrated opera classics including the sold-out new production of Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde (presented over two evenings), Bellini’s I Puritani, Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Pulitzer Prize–winning composer and librettist team Gabriela Lena Frank and Nilo Cruz’s El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego, and Puccini’s La Bohème.

Seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no rain dates. No advance tickets or reservations are required.
