Consumer Electronics Show: Drones, 3D Printing, Wearables, Cryptocurrencies & More

The future of consumer electronics, gadgets, tech, computers, and more converges on Las Vegas as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) returns. Running January 8 to 11, the show takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center (3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas), as well as venues across the Strip.

This year’s convention will be exploring several different areas of how tech will be changed and be changing our lives.  The 5G wireless communication portion examines how 5G can change the way we use our smart devices and computers. Advertising and Entertainment looks at how music, content, and ads will be beamed into our homes. The Automotive portion of the show projects the future of self-driving cars. The Blockchain looks at how Cryptocurrencies are being incorporated into businesses while the Health & Wellness covers new forms of accessibility technology, digital health monitoring, and wearables like Fitbits. Product Design & Manufacturing looks at how 3D printing will change businesses and home life, while the Robotics & Machine Intelligence block is for AI, drones and robotics (flying pizza delivery drone, anyone?). Sports is for covering eSports as well as sports technology while the Startup portion puts investors in touch with thousands of emerging businesses.

And there’s still a plethora of exhibitors on the show floor and the Marketplace to see.
