Dallas Comic Con 2010

Dallas Comic Con is being held January 30-31, 2010 at the Richardson Civic Center, Dallas, TX.  The Dallas ComiCon is fast becoming a true destination for fans of comics, movies, media and more.

Media guests include:

  • Twilight New Moon’s Daniel Cudmore
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel’s Charisma Carpenter


as well as:

  • Adam West (Batman (TOS))
  • Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca, Star Wars)
  • Anne Lockhart (Sheba) and Herb Jefferson Jr. (Boomer) (Battlestar Galactica (TOS))
  • Cliff Allison (Return of the Jedi)

Among the guest artists is artist/creator Michael Golden, returning to his home state for his first appearance there in over 20 years. His recent works include Spiderman, Hulk, and new pieces coming for Planet of the Apes, Mouse Templar, and others. 

"I am also very happy to be returning to my home state and bringing Michael with me," says Renee Witterstaetter of Eva Ink Publishing. "We're looking forward to showing some new items at the event and meeting some new fans and friends. I should even have a preview copy of Michael's new sketchbook, MORE Heroes and Villains."

Tim Sale, Adam Hughes, Mark Brooks, Todd Nauck, Pat Broderick, Terry Moore, Jim Mahfood, Mike Huddleston, Tom Feister, Matt Sturges, Brian Denham, John Lucas, Bill Williams, Jaime Mendoza, Tone Rodriquez, Josh Howard, James O'Barr, Cat Staggs, Kerry Gammill, Kez Wilson, Joe Eisma, Brent Peeples, Renee Witterstaetter, Brad W. Foster, Allison Sohn, Dirk Strangely, Harold Ledoux, Andrew Mangam, Brock Rizy and Richard Dominguez.

Also making an appearance will be Katrina, G4's official Woman of the Web, a.k.a. Action Flick Chick  The cast of the hit web series The Variants.

The Year In Geek: Devin Pike of RedCarpetCrash.com joins Katrina Hill (actionflickchick.com), Mark Walters (Bigfanboy.com), and others (including a few surprise guests) for a special presentation about the films geeks will love in 2010, with clips of upcoming films, trailers, and more. 

Dallas Comic Con Art Auction: art auction items will be on display throughout Saturday, up to the auction at 3pm.
