New York Intl Gift Fair - Summer Edition

The Summer edition of the New York International Gift Fair® is taking place Augusny-gift-show-andrea-sadekt 14 - 18, 2011 at the Javits Convention Center as well as Pier 92 and Pier 94 in Manhattan, New York City.

NYC & Company, the City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, welcomes back the Summer 2011 New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®) to New York City. International participation across the NYIGF is up 20% this year, with 380+ companies from 46 countries around the world represented at NYIGF.

"NYIGF will showcase the ‘best of the best’ in consumer products for everyday living and giving," said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and GLM senior vice president.

"Some 35,000 retailers from across the U.S. and around the world will converge on New York City in search of products for 4th quarter resale. The show will present 100,000 products with representation from emerging designers and established brands in its 400 product categories."

Gamescom 2011

gamescomEvery gamer in America has heard of the infamous conference known as E3, held every year in the LA Convention Center. Some hardcore gamers may even know of the Tokyo Games Show (TGS), held on the island country.

However, few know about the European version known as gamescom, held August 17 - 21, 2011 in Cologne, Germany at the Cologne Trade Fair Center and that it is open to the public.

This is Europe's biggest trade fair for the interactive games and entertainment industry featuring "E3-esque" entertainment areas and events highlighted by outdoor performances, live acts and latest announcements within the gaming and tech world.

The world-famous San Diego Comic-Con International runs July 21 - 24, 2011, returning to sdcc-Logothe San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.
