Social Media Week 2011

Social Media Week 2011 is running February 7 - 11, 2011 in various venues around New York City, as well as online. Social Media Week (SMW) is a global platform that connects people, content, and conversation around emerging trends in social and mobile media, owned and operated by Crowdcentric Media LLC.

Crowdcentric was founded to “explore new opportunities in how we as a society connect and communicate. The mission of the company is to help people, brands, companies, not-for-profits and governments around the world establish deeper and more valuable relationships through open collaboration and social communication.”

SMW has gone from one to many more cities, reconvening in New York, while adding London, Paris, San Francisco, Toronto, São Paolo, Rome and Hong Kong.

And while everyone must register for each event, nearly all events are free (unless otherwise noted).
