New York is a town full of marketers working at advertisers, advertising agencies, and media companies. There are many conferences and other events covering advertising in all its many forms including new developments such as programmatic advertising. However, conferences that cover the wide landscape of marketing and marketing technology and automation are still few and far between in New York even in the light of the growing interest in marketing technology and automation. One series of events that does cover this wider landscape of marketing is the Internation Marketing Week (June 9 - 10, 2015) of which the International Marketing Week conference at the Millenium Hotel (145 W 44th St., NY, NY) is the centerpiece event which presents a gamut of experienced practitioners and thought leaders speaking on the many different aspects of integrated marketing not surprisingly in these times with somewhat if emphasis on digital marketing, data driven marketing, and marketing automation across the many channels and touchpoints that marketers now have to make use of to engage current and prospective customers.
The Integreated Market Week conference consists of two days keynotes and panels discussing the latest in omni-channel marketing during which leading practitioners and thinkers will discuss what is possible today, mistakes to avoid and lessons learned, and what we can look forward to as marketers become more experienced in planning and executing integreated omni-channel marketing programs. This year’s Integrated Marketing Show its second year in New York is organized by the Direct Marketing Association whihc is the leading nation and international professional body representing direct marketers, data driven marketers, and increasing digital and performance marketers as more and marketing dollars go to online marketing channels.
The conference will begin by discussing the emergence of Marketing Technology and how it is changing how marketing is performed and brands are built and sustained, and how the new more technological marketing is changing the role of the CMO while giving them a higher profile within many businesses. The conference continues over the next two days with a world class line up of leading marketing thinkers, keynote speakers, and panelists, including user case study presentations by marketing practitioners. Day one is divided into three presentation parallel streams: Driving Changing, Engaging the Consumer, and Optimizing Insight.

Besides Daymond John’s keynote speech at 4 PM on Wednesday other keynote presenters are going to be David Gilboa co-founder and Co-CEO of online eyewear company Warby Parker, comedian, author, and entrepreneur Baratunde Thurston, and Beau Avril the Global Head of Product Communications for YouTube at Google. Throughtout the two days marketers will speak to their experiences and strategies for integrated marketing at brands like PepsiCo, Lincoln Center, Thomson-Reuters, Mastercard, Dun and Bradstreet, IBM, SAP, GE, Mass Mutual, Lego, GAP, and others. Experts from management consultants McKinsey and industry analyst firm Forrester will also be speaking , and with marketing technology such a redhot area right now there will also be speakers from venture capital firms like Foundation Capital and Accel Partners will provide expert analysis and opinion from the perspective of investing in marketing technology companies and identifying those hot trends and richest veins within the marketing technology sector where venture capital firms will be placing their bets.
