Now in its third year, Lincoln Center’s Summer For the City returns June 12th to August 10 with events celebrating the arts throughout NYC. “Life, Liberty, and Happiness” is this year’s guiding curatorial theme, highlighting how active participation in the arts helps strengthen civic bonds and grow strong communities.
BAAND Together Dance Festival takes five of NYC’s most celebrated dance companies—Ballet Hispánico, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem— and reunites them on one stage.
The Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center celebrates its inaugural season under Renée and Robert Belfer Music Director Jonathon Heyward performing timeless classics and new and fresh pieces.
The Bridge is an augmented reality experience that lets you time travel through Lincoln Center’s outdoor spaces and discover the history of the communities that have populated the land—from the original Indigenous people: the Lenape, to the diverse communities of San Juan Hill—and discover significant moments in Lincoln Center’s history.
Soundcake: Aural Confections by Sapphira Cristál & Monét X Change features RuPaul's Drag Race stars Sapphira Cristál and Monét X Change as they show off their classical training for an opening night extravaganza of drag and opera.
