The inaugural Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) is being held November 9 - 13, 2011 at numerous venues in the Napa Valley communities of Napa, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga, California.
The Napa Valley Film Festival is produced by Cinema Napa Valley, a registered 501c3 non-profit organization headquartered in Napa, California. The co-chairs, Brenda and Marc Lhormer, ran the successful Sonoma Valley Film Festival from 2001 through 2008.
NVFF features
NVFF will honor actor Jeffrey Wright with the Humanitarian Award.
The Opening Night film is the new George Clooney starrer, The Descendants, directed by Alexander Payne, and co-starring Judy Greer, who is the Festival‛s "Spotlight On" honoree. The film is about a suddenly widowed father of two daughters who must not only repair his relationship with his children, but also come to grips with a new revelation about his wife.
The Closing Night film is the Sundance Grand Prize winner Like Crazy, directed by Drake Doremus, with Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones, the Festival‛s "Rising Star" honoree.

Somewhere Between

Nearly 80,000 Chinese girls have been adopted by U.S. families. This film relates the stories of four of them.
Becoming Santa
directed by Jeff Myers
This film follows the experiences of one man who decides to go the distance in becoming a Santa Claus for one Christmas season.
It would not be Napa Valley without the award-winning wines to accompany the critically praised cuisine, and attendees will be able to enjoy both in all the Festival villages.
