December 1 - 15, 2011 in midtown Manhattan in New York City.
Ibermedia is a consortium of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries that "facilitates and finances co-productions of documentaries and fiction films between its...member countries, and grants money for international distribution and promotion."

The 6th Annual Romanian Film Festival takes place November 30 - December 6, 2011 at 
the Walter Reade Theatre and the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center at Lincoln Center in Manhattan, New York City.
The Romanian Film Festival in New York City was initiated in 2006 as a partnership of the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York (RCINY) with the Transilvania International Film Festival and Tribeca Cinemas.
This year the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York joins with the Film Society of Lincoln Center to present the latest Romanian premieres along with an view of evolving Romanian cinema.

The 19th annual African Diaspora International Film Festival (ADIFF) is screening 
November 25 - December 13, 2011 at the Thalia Theatre at Symphony Space, the Quad Cinema, Schomburg Center for Black Culture and Teachers College at Columbia University in Manhattan, New York City.
ADIFF is the first film festival focusing on the human experience of people of color. The Festival begins every year on the last Friday of November during the Thanksgiving weekend.
