First with the launch of their Galaxy IV at world-famous Radio City Music Hall in NYC on Mar. 14, and then on Mar. 20th with their 2013 suite of Home Entertainment systems. On hand were celebrities NY Giants quarterback Eli Manning, supermodel

Samsung Electronics continues to dominate on the global TV market for the eighth straight year. While other have seen their market share eroding and with significant drops in demand, Samsung continued to lead with revenues increasing 6% year on year in 2012 to give it a 27.7% share. The ooh factor was felt in Samsung's latest (sixth) iteration of the Smart TV. The standard television aka "idiot box" is rendered archaic as the rotary telephone with Samsung's proprietary "Smart technology" with features such as web browsing and downloadable applications. The show stopper was Samsung F8000 Smart LED TV, the world’s first with a quad-core processor, resulting in faster internal processing speeds for smoother operations. Compared to previous Samsung 8000-series
models, start-up, browsing, and switching among services are sped up to three times faster. Available in 40-inch to a whopping 75-inch, this premium, ultra-slim TV range offers a Full HD (1080p) resolution, Active 3D, and ‘Micro Dimming’ tech for increased contrast.
