This year's Los Angeles Edition of the ShowBiz Expo, the largest networking event for the
entertainment industry, is taking place May 7, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center near Downtown LA.
Events include a wide range of networking opportunities besides the exhibit hall: workshops and seminars, Designers' Showcase, focus groups, roundtable discussions, Film Festival, headshot displays for casting, live auditions for performers, movie reel showcase, original music showcase, and much more.

The Dallas Comic Con, takes place May 21 - 22, 2011 in the 300,000 square foot Irving Convention Center is a huge show in a new venue.
The premier guest list include actors Leonard Nimoy and Carrie Fisher, and legendary artists Stan Lee and John Romita Jr.
Ben Stevens, with C2 Ventures hosting the event, explains the growth of the convention: "We’ve come a long way, developing a very large fan base that literally had us bursting at the seams. Some of our recent shows were so crowded, it was difficult to walk the hallways. This larger venue will solve that problem while allowing us to bring in more guests, vendors and special events."

The 23rd Annual Exposition of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) is 
being held April 28 - May 1, 2011 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
The Event is preceded by a Symposium on April 26-27, at the Hilton-Americas Hotel in Houston.
The SCAA Exposition is one of the nation’s leading specialty coffee and tea industry trade shows, designed to be the coffee professionals‛ one stop shop for everything needed to succeed in the coffee industry.
Opening Ceremonies are the official beginning of the Event, which varies every year and can be industry speakers, video and entertainment from the Portrait Country, or all of the above and more.
