Creation Entertainment's Official Star Trek Convention is being held March 11 - 13, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in San Francisco, CA, where Leonard Nimoy returns to the site of one of his greatest triumphs -- directing and starring in Star Trek IV.
This year marks the 45th Anniversary of Star Trek, the original series, and the Official Star Trek event in San Francisco kicks off the year's celebrations. This is also the year that both William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy turn 80.
In addition to Nimoy, original cast star Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) will also be appearing, along with:

Experience Hands-On Adventure Activities – Try out a specific activity before booking the next vacation. Whatever the skill level or age, there is an activity at the show to test one's endurance.
Some of the things visitors can do:
A new activity this year is the Aerial Zip Line – Experience the thrill of zip-lining while flying across the show floor.
The Rock Climbing Wall is back, with experienced professionals on hand to ensure safety.
Again this year, attendees can learn to scuba dive in a heated pool, 4-feet-deep, 18,000- gallons. Free scuba lessons (for age 10 and up) from a certified diving instructor with wetsuits, masks, air tanks, even hairdryers, provided. Play with an underwater scooter and MP3 Players. Those interested: be sure to bring a swimsuit.
Wild Fire Adventures Challenge Course – attendees can take the challenge of crawling under a military net, climbing 3-foot walls, and more.
