In this era in which everyone is taking pictures, yet they have virtually vanished from the physical world, it is interesting to see how the medium of the photography is evolving
The AIPAD Photography Show (March 29 – April 1, Park Ave Armory, 643 Park Avenue, New York, NY), arrives during this unseasonably warm and pleasant March to help everyone reassess their notions of what true, non-cell phone, photography is.
SES, The annual conference for search engine experts and marketers is back in New York starting March 19 - 23. The keynote presentation on day one of the conference will be given by Avinash Kaushik, Digital Marketing Evangelist at Google who will talk about Business Optimization in a Digital Age and how to embrace Social, Display, Video, and of course Email.
During the three days of the conference other sessions will look at:
As the Internet becomes more about rich media and data, so too is the role of search is becoming elevated from just being an advertising platform but to being the glue of online advertising. Today there are a number of companies who make their money not by optimizing landing pages for search, or optimizing paid search bidding strategies, but by aggregating search data to create intent data by market categories and geographies enabling advertisers to more accurately and more timely target Internet users with relevant offers based on their intent profiles and interests.
As always the conference will also provide plenty for those who are new to both paid search and organic search engineer optimization, and those just getting into search and website analytics using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture.
SES New York 2012 is looking to bring some truly fascinating discussion on the future of search engines and their place in an internet governed by social media.
